September 2010

The Eastern Cape Chapter's membership stands at 41. Darcy du Toit was invited to speak in July on "How many bites to the Cherry" - Remedies for unfair treatment. 26 delegates attended the event. The Chapter committee invited the Honorable Judge Waglay to present at a seminar at the end of August. There was a good attendance at the event and this was a great success.

June 2010

Paid-up membership as at 11 May 2010 is 40. Reminders are still being sent out to get "old" members to renew 26 of them have not renewed .In the meantime the Chapter has had quite a few new members joining.  On 20 April 2010 the Chapter had Sarah Christie presenting a paper on "What arbitrators expect from practitioners". 

The Eastern Cape Chapter continues to publish and distribute a monthly newsletter to its members.
